Stichting OPEN launches market consultation for battery recycling in the Netherlands 

Stichting OPEN organizes and promotes, on behalf of producers and importers in the Netherlands, the efficient, safe, and sustainable collection and processing of portable batteries and bicycle batteries. Due to growth in battery applications, the amount of discarded batteries in the Netherlands is also increasing sharply. It is therefore becoming increasingly important for us to have insight into the national battery processing capacity and its further development.

To this end, Stichting OPEN is launching a Market Consultation. Through this Consultation, Stichting OPEN aims to establish a solid foundation for collaboration with Dutch market players and contribute to the development of a future-proof battery processing infrastructure in the Netherlands. 

We invite companies, knowledge institutions, and other stakeholders active in battery recycling to connect with us and contribute to this Market Consultation.
